As members are probably aware, the second phase of the government’s 6P
Amnesty programme has started on 10/10/2011.
Members should get their illegal workers who have gone through the
biometric registration in August to apply for their passports from their
respective embassies if they have not already done so. Thereafter, application
to Jabatan Tenaga Kerja (JTK), Johor Bahru would have to be made.
The final
approval letter from JTK Putrajaya, would be required to apply to the Home
Ministry (KDN) for the workers’ permit.
Members are encouraged to apply early for the legalization of their
workers under this second phase, which has the deadline of January 10, 2012.
